Off Season. A summer of art on Oslo's busiest shopping street. eiklid / rusten at Nedre Slottsgate 9, open from 17 June through August.

Off Season is our summer project. From 17 June through August, eiklid / rusten has moved into Nedre Slottsgate 9, one of the busiest shopping streets in Oslo, and turned it into a gallery for the season. The idea is to keep things loose and a little playful: the presentations will change over the summer, works will come and go, and the rooms won't look the same twice. A single painting by Sverre Bjertnæs sits in an intimate room of its own, and the rest of the space is given to Yves Scherer, Charlie Roberts and Mette Tronvoll. Come in, look at the art, and stay for a conversation. That is the whole point. Thank you to Promenaden for making it possible.
